About Us

Cenacle Legal Services (CLS) is a non-profit organization established in 2015 to augment existing legal aid services for poor and vulnerable persons residing in the Florida cities of Venice, North Port, and Englewood.

Mission Statement

Cenacle Legal Services Inc. (CLS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which was established to augment the existing legal aid services for the poor and vulnerable, who reside in the underserved cities of Venice, North Port, and Englewood in south Sarasota County.

Services

CLS strives to meet the legal needs of its income eligible clients, without regard to their race, age, creed, gender, language, ethnicity, disability or immigration status in the United States by providing advice, counsel and/or representation in civil matters, especially those pertaining to:

 

  • Housing
  • Elder Affairs
  • Public Benefits
  • Consumer Rights
  • Minor Children

 

 

 

CLS reserves the right to deliver those services not contrary to the spirit of the Gospel as proclaimed by the Roman Catholic Church.

Fees & Costs

Clients pay no attorney fees. However, certain costs may apply for which clients would be required to pay, such as those for clerk of court or civil process costs.

Our Attorneys

All Florida Bar-admitted lawyers are encouraged to donate their services for client intake, advice and counsel, referral to other entities, and/or legal representation. For questions in regards to pro bono activities, please call the executive director at 941-244-0308.
